Aerating a lawn will allow much needed moisture and air to reach deep into the soil not only strengthening currently growing grass but also helping give new seeds a little help taking root.
Vertical Cutting: Sometimes called verticutting, vertical cutting essentially wipes the slate clean on your lawn breaking up layers of thatch that restrict water, sunlight and air from reaching the soil. Verticutting removes those dead layers of grass blades and also stirs up the soil’s surface making it more conducive to optimal growth.
Leaf Removal: Fall leaves may look amazing on your lawn but they can do serious damage to your if they aren’t removed. A thick layer of leaves can pose as a barrier between your lawn’s grass and the air, sunlight and water it will need to survive through the winter.
