Now that February has arrived, some steps should be taken near the end of the month or the beginning of March to ensure your lawn’s grass is ready to rebound after lying dormant over the course of the winter. First, a round of pre-emergent treatment should be scheduled as the temperatures begin to tick up to a more spring-like level. Pre-emergent prevents noxious weeds from germinating so that your lawn’s grass ultimately has a much better chance of growing quickly once spring has finally sprung.
